VisionBridge Aids Distressed Community in Securing Federal Funding and Providing Development of Medically Integrated Center
Working in conjunction with its strategic partners, Management Vision, Key Architecture and Technogym, VisionBridge has been working with the Lake City Community Foundation, of Lake City, South Carolina, in planning a 37,000 square foot medically integrated health and fitness center. The project started with an initial feasibility study performed by Management Vision, and has continued development with architectural drawings from Key Architecture and equipment design and layout from Technogym. VisionBridge provides financial forecasting, overall operational guidance, and serves as the co-chair, with Dr. Albert Mims, of the local wellness committee.
Lake City, a distressed community by Federal guidelines, is in the process of planning a downtown revitalization along with improving the outpatient services of the local hospital and providing a much needed wellness center. The adult population of Lake City is fraught with significant lifestyle challenges relative to disease management, specifically in the areas of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease. The youth population is equally at risk for similar lifestyle relate illness and disease.
At project's completion, Lake City will have a state-of-the-art wellness center, an outpatient rehab center and physician's services within the new building.
